| So I haven't been sitting at my own computer very much these days which is a good thing in my head. I picked up a book today and read, something I haven't done since the The End of the Series of Unfortunate Events. I visited a used book store and grabbed The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. I had read it in high school and really remember enjoying it, which I am definitely enjoying it (I'm about 2/3s of the way through already).
I went camping all last week and had a fantastic time doing nothing (you know, besides getting over 100 points on one word in Scrabble and getting 40+ points on one round of Boggle...seriously, I rule :). It was great to spend time with my fake family. They are truly wonderful people that I really need to visit with more often.
My Jennie is home from PA permanently, so I've been spending a good amount of time at her and Alex's house. To those who have not yet played WarioWare for Wii, seriously need to.
I had the pleasure of going to the theatre and seeing Ratatouille yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic. I have still yet to see Spiderman 3...but the Simpsons movie comes out this month, so the web slinger is just going to have to wait a while.
I have a part-time job these days in addition to my normal spreadsheet-monkey job. I am doing office work for a friend of the family and it's been nice to have a little bit of spending money (although less time in which to spend it).
Generally life is going okay. I've been reading everyone's blogs, just writing only a little. (I do have my little blogspots, but they are dedicated to random things I find at work and fashion/shopping, not really about what's going on with me.)

| Ang has asked me questions and now I will answer them to the best of my ability.
1. How many different countries have you been to? What was your favorite experience and where? I have been to Israel, Egypt, Austria, Germany, Leichtenstein and Venice (which is technically a part of Italy, but not really). So that's six. My favorite experience would have to be my Sunday morning in Venice. Venice: Most of the people on the trip either went to mass that morning or slept in. I spent my morning in Saint Mark's square sitting by myself at a table, sipping a cappuccino. I watched the people walk by and feed the pigeons. The bells rang at the end of mass and all the pigeons took off at once. It was just a beautiful experience, although very hard to explain why.
2. Do you have some crazy/interesting/embarrassing childhood memory
you wouldn't mind telling about? Something that's a sort of "first
thing to come to mind" when you think of your childhood. (This ranges
up to the end of high school.)
Senior skip day is that time-honored tradition in which the high schoolers throw off the shackles of structured learning and embrace the freedom that after college they will come to miss. For my senior skip day, a bunch of friends and I decided to caravan to Dewey Beach in Delaware. That doesn't sound too interesting in and of itself, except when you learn that we video taped the whole day in true Real World style. We had confessions and musical interludes...it was beautiful. (And I edited the whole thing in the school's facilities :)
3. What do you think is the biggest difference in yourself now from being a kid? (Other than being wiser.) I'm a lot quieter than when I was a kid. Many people might not believe this one, but I was super bossy and loud and cried and whined when I didn't get my way. I'm not too sure where my easy-going self came from, but it definitely had to have happened sometime in high school.
4. (I hope this question comes out right), what color scheme do you
feel is most you? If it helps, you can describe a place, like, a room
or something to help explain it. I think the best color palate for me would be a blue morpho butterfly (taken from Neatorama.com, who got it from DumpTrumpet, who found it at ColorLovers):
5. What's your favorite 80's pop icon, (person or thing or music, all mediums involved) and why? This is the toughest one on here. I think I'd have to go with Punky Brewster. She embodied all qualities of a child of the 80's, from her side ponytails to her legwarmers.
If anyone would like some questions asked of them. Feel free to reply and let me know however you see fit.
| I decided to start compiling all the things that I find on my travels on the Intarnets. (Rather than just saving them as a draft in my email).
I'd start up another xanga, but unfortunately most blogging sites are blocked (as well as, I don't want work knowing where my blogs are). So if you're bored and want to know what I'm looking at while at work, feel free to take a gander:

| This is my new phone. It does far more than probably any phone should, but I quite enjoy it.

My mom has a boyfriend. I'm excited for her, but admittedly a bit jealous. I was supposed to meet him this evening, but for no given reason, she didn't want me to. I have told her that I am going to behave when I meet him and she was all about it when she and I hung out for my birthday on Saturday, but something must have changed.
I'll be in Pittsburgh as of tomorrow and going to the fabulous Allison's wedding. I am super happy for her. Snow or no snow, I think that it'll be a beautiful day.
Work blows and I've gotten to the point where I wonder if I'd ever be happy working a job. The biggest problem with my job right now is the money, or should I say the lack there of. I've been able to pay my bills, get to work and eat...and that's it.
Lately my life has been boring and altogether pointless, hence the lack of updating. I sit on my ass all day at work, and then I come home and feel drained for no apparent reason and sit some more. I really miss having thoughts and ideas to the point where it's hard to even function. Now I'm fully functional, just in a perma-zombie-like state. Everyone I talk to about it just chalks it up to being an adult. I tell you, if this is being an adult, then I'll be checking myself into a mental health institution quite soon...at least then I wouldn't have to worry about paying as many bills. (Although I'm sure that Sallie Mae would hunt me down quicker than I can eat a bag of mini Cadbury eggs.)
